Rat Sertoli cells phagocytose apoptotic spermatogenic cells, which consist mostly of
spermatocytes, in primary culture by recognizing phosphatidylserine (PS) exposed on the
surface of degenerating spermatogenic cells. We compared the mode of phagocytosis using
